Welcome to the home page of the Department of Physiology and Biophysics at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Our goal is to train independent, creative, productive scholars in the physiological sciences. The department offers a Ph.D. program. A combined M.D./Ph.D. degree program is available for students who obtain prior or concurrent admission to the School of Medicine.
